Zinc Fume Extraction & Scrubbing System

ZINC FUME EXTRACTION & SCRUBBING SYSTEM

Hot dip galvanizing process generates particulate emissions which need to be deal with. These particles are sub-micron that means the material is hygroscopic (moist air). When steel material is dipped in to the molten zinc, very fine particles of Zinc Oxide are generated and Ammonium Chloride is also emitted.

1. Lip Type Zinc Fume Suction Duct

• The Lip type Suction Duct is mounted on one side of the kettle.
• High velocity through the suction slots is sufficient to pull out the fumes over the top of the furnace.
• Made form thick MS metal sheet in Rectangular in shape.
• It’s painted with a high temperature resistant paint.

2. White Fume & Splash Enclosure

• Automatic Operation using push button controls
• Four stage rotary limit switch provides limit protection for safety
• Automatically arranged two stages opening to prevent leakage of fume.
• Door hoist failure protection and High safety measures in hoist operations.

3. Zinc Dust Collection Cyclone

• Cyclone dust collectors efficiently clean the air in work areas to capture and remove the fine dust created by Galvanising process from the fume air flow.

4. Wet Fume Scrubber

• Relatively small space requirements
• Can collect gases as well as particulates
• High collection efficiencies on fine particulates
• Wet scrubbers can neutralize corrosive gases
